About Her
A mature, well-educated, and respectable Lady is looking to meet a REFINED gentleman! The meeting of the minds is important, and similar interests are an added bonus! I enjoy fine dining and good conversation! Love the Theatre, classic concerts, however, prefer the Golden Oldies, Jazz. Country & Western. I presented a program on Radio Helderberg every Sunday morning for 9 years, It was called Delana's Golden Oldies. The listeners used to wait for it, and it was such a rewarding program, as the listeners would phone in and tell me that the song that I had just played, brought back such nostalgic memories for them, many were the war songs, and I found such enjoyment and gratitude. I am at present doing adverts for Radio Kosmos, and Radio Wave, and now permanently on Saturday afternoons, on NOVA 103.5 from 2 pm to 5 pm once again presenting "A Blast from the Past" once again music from the '50s '60s and 70's here in Windhoek. We have access to the "what's app" line in the studio, and that is a great way to keep in contact with the listeners, so tune in and send a message and a special request will be played for you! I love communicating, and I pride myself, in stating that my general knowledge is good and can discuss and communicate about most current affairs! I enjoy visiting various Game lodges, and enjoy walking, not bundu bashing, Glamping is the preferred way, love to walk along the beach either early in the mornings, or at Sunset, and enjoy a bottle of "bubbly" whilst sitting at watching the day come to a close! I would love to meet a person who still wants to travel, and I have so many places on my "bucket list" that time will not allow it! I LOVE London, my favorite City! For fun, I love "snorkeling" in the warm sea, been to Seychelles, and Mauritius. My Granddaughter and her husband, are fully qualified PADI deep-sea diving instructors and on the idyllic Island, Caracau Island, in the Caribbean, what a life!
